The VS Code and Cursor extension surfaces memory context on hover and code lens, Cmd+Shift+K ask-brain, and Cmd+. quick query-selection capture flows through brrainy.captureSelection.
Agents talk to the desktop daemon over a local socket for MCP installer and recorder flows; the editor never holds long-lived API tokens.
Crash reporting and MCP config writes stay on the desktop path so IDE assist inherits the same capture, search, and graph guardrails as the web product.
